Robert laughs and tells us to follow him. Cal asked where we were going and Robert replied, “to the river.” The river Orinoco, to be exact. Martin knew why we were heading that way. The drums grow louder as we get nearer to the river basin. In the water sat a huge river boat. A group of tribespeople start coming out of the jungle and surrounding us. My heart starts to race. Robert asked us if we knew of this tribe. I didn’t have a clue, nor did Cal. But Martin knew. This was the same tribe that he encountered years before in his search for the Black Orchid. He knew them as the Aku Aku. A tribe of cannibals who perform Voodoo before they eat their prey.
