Duck Stab!/Buster & Glen is an album released in 1978 by The Residents. It is often called Duck Stab!, after Duck Stab!, a seven-song EP released earlier in 1978 featuring shorter songs similar to the first side of Fingerprince. Buster and Glen was intended to follow Duck Stab!, but instead was the B-side of LP with the former release as the A-side. The 1995 Euro Ralph CD reissue of the album included Duck Stab! and Buster and Glen as two separate 3" mini CDs, marking the first and only time where the latter has been presented as a standalone EP as originally intended.
The shorter length of the songs made the album more accessible for fans who had recently heard "Satisfaction", and songs like "Constantinople" and "Hello Skinny" helped cement the band's cult following. This album features guitar by Philip "Snakefinger" Lithman.
lyrics
Down, deep down,
I'm down, down down,
Down, deep down,
I'm down, way down
Easter woman came today,
And took away my wife,
Took her through an open doorway,
To the afterlife.
